Parent Participation Portal:  On Volunteer 

New Online Parent Participation System

We will be moving to a new online software system called “OnVolunteers” to make it easy for parents to participate in the program. The new system automates and simplifies the process. There is no fee for parents to use this system.

Parents do not need to register for an account - one has already been created for each family which includes your own unique password-protected website, aka ‘portal’. From within your own portal, you will be able to:

  • Easily view and quickly sign up for available events/shifts/tasks.
  • Automatically track the tasks and associated parent participation hours you have been assigned. 
  • Know your real-time parent participation hours total, any time.
  • Receive/send messages from and to the Category team regarding parent participation-related matters, all from within your private portal. 

You can login to your parent website at the following url:

Username is: your email address (the one you have given the school)

Password:  (Please request from the school office)

The first time you log in, you will see a ‘Start Guide’ screen, this has 4 short videos that will familiarize you with your volunteer portal. We recommend that you watch at least the 1st video, the Introduction video. This video will show you how to personalize your password (which we strongly recommend you do, for security purposes).
