Dates TBA (Times 3-3:30 twice per week)
Open to Grade 2 and 1 students, COMPUTER CAMP will run for 3 consecutive weeks prior to the Christmas break. Students will have fun becoming familiar with online educational games requiring mouse, math and language skills.
Speech Arts Club read more
Open to students in Grades 1-7, Speech Arts Club includes the categories of Bible Reading, Memorized Poetry, Storytelling and Speech Writing. Leading contenders become eligible for entrance into The Archbishop James F. Carney Catholic Elementary Schools Speech Arts Festival held each Spring.
Destination Imagination read more
Open to students in Grades 4-6 who are interested in using their skills, talents, and imagination to complete cooperative tasks. Teams compete against other schools. The teams meet on Fridays after school to prepare for competitions.
Service Club read more
Service Club is a great way for students to demonstrate leadership and involvement in their community. Students in Grades 4-7 have the opportunity to perform service activities which include Peer Helpers (dispute mediation), classroom monitors (helping with classroom chores during lunch), altar servers, phone monitors (recess and lunch), Buddy Readers, and recycling monitors.

Everyone is welcome to actively participate in the school's two choirs. Intermediate Choir practice is held during the lunch hour on Thursdays: Primary Choir practice is held during the lunch hour on Wednesdays. Singing events include school Masses, seasonal Masses and special Sacramental Masses. Community outreach events include singing at Burnaby Village Museum, special school/church events such as The Over 50 Club, and visiting Extended Care facilities.
